The Chateau's great wine, La Fleur de Bouard reveals the aromatic expression of the beautiful terroir of Lalande de Pomerol, an appellation located on the right bank of the Bordeaux region.
Pre-fermentation maceration from 8 to 10 ° C. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration for 3 to 5 weeks. Vinification by gravity. Malolactic fermentation was carried out in barrels. Aging lasted 18 to 24 months in French oak barrels (75 to 80% new barrels). The wine was neither fined nor filtered.
The Chateau La Fleur de Boüard was made from a blend ofMerlot(82%),Cabernet Franc(9%), Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) andPetit Verdot(4%).
